Welcome to The Learning Nest

Hello, I’m Timea — an experienced early years professional with a huge love for what I do. After many wonderful years managing a nursery in London, I’ve followed my heart and created The Learning Nest, a warm, home-based setting where children feel safe, valued and excited to learn.

I truly believe that children thrive when they’re listened to and understood. That’s why I take time to tune into their little voices — their ideas, their interests, their unique personalities — and build our days around them. My goal is to give every child the confidence, resilience and skills they need to explore the world with curiosity and joy.

Life at The Learning Nest is calm, nurturing and full of meaningful experiences: outdoor adventures, stories and music, creative play, hands-on learning and plenty of space to just *be*. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), blending care and education so that children grow socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively — all while having lots of fun.
