My Requirements

We are looking for a warm, energetic and highly engaging afternoon nanny for our 22-month-old son in Nine Elms.

Core hours: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–7:00pm
Saturday: Ideally available 3:00pm–7:00pm
Location: Nine Elms, London
Start: 10 September

Our son attends nursery in the mornings and naps after lunch, so we are looking for someone to take ownership of his afternoons and early evenings from around 3pm.

He is a happy, affectionate and curious little boy who loves being outdoors, books, music, walking/running around and interactive play.

A typical afternoon might include a snack after his nap, his bath, a trip to the park or an activity, reading and developmental play at home, dinner, and helping with his evening routine. Also, daily sanitation of his play area, toys and books.

We are particularly looking for someone who is warm and affectionate but also proactive. We would love a nanny who talks and reads with him throughout the day, encourages his communication and independence, comes up with interesting activities and genuinely enjoys engaging with toddlers rather than simply supervising them.

We are looking for:

- Strong experience with children aged 1–3
- Excellent spoken English
- A warm, patient and energetic personality
- Someone proactive about outdoor activities, play and development
- Confidence preparing healthy toddler meals
- Paediatric first aid
- Excellent references
- Reliability and an interest in a longer-term position

We are a friendly and respectful family and hope to find someone who develops a close, long-term relationship with our son.
