About Me
My name is Kerry, i am a married mum of 2 boys age 22 and 14. I have worked in childcare for 15 years working in schools and nursery’s. I have experience working with children with educational needs and taken up courses in this area. I have been a 1-1 support teacher for a child with autism i have worked along side parents to help support the children in my care. I have always loved working with children they make days bright and rewarding. I am in the process of becoming ofsted registered as a nanny. I like the idea of becoming more available and present to the children i look after. Children learn through play and using their imagination and creativity. I like to showcase and support this with the children i care for ?
I am a happy, outgoing person who is hard working and self motivated. I love nature walks and reading books in my spare time. I am always striving to learn more about Early years and take advantage of any opportunities of learning to add to my knowledge through courses and books.
