My Experience

I have previously worked as a support worker for young adults with special needs, and as a carer for elderly individuals and those living with both physical and mental disabilities. These roles required a high level of empathy, patience, and understanding — qualities I believe are essential when caring for children, especially during daily routines like school pick-ups and drop-offs.

Working closely with vulnerable individuals taught me how to remain calm in a variety of situations, to listen carefully to individual needs, and to build trust through consistency and kindness. These experiences have made me not only more empathetic, but also more attentive and aware of the importance of emotional safety alongside physical safety.

I bring with me a genuine care for others, a professional attitude, and a calm, friendly manner. I am reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to making each journey feel secure and welcoming for every child in my care.

Please note: I currently only offer school run services (morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up), not general babysitting.

My Qualifications

I hold GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science. These core qualifications reflect my strong communication, numeracy, and problem-solving skills — all of which are important when supporting children and ensuring their safety and wellbeing. While I don’t have formal childcare qualifications, my practical experience in care work has given me valuable transferable skills that support my ability to provide a reliable and compassionate service.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

• Morning school drop-off: £10 per session
• Afternoon school pick-up: £15 per session

These prices include transport in my own car and basic care during the school run. Sibling discounts and additional arrangements (e.g. early drop-off or later pick-up) can be discussed based on your needs.
