Camp Beaumont – Camp Manager
June 2022- Present
My responsibility as Camp Manager is to oversee the group leader's activity provision for children aged 3 to 11. Due to developing internally through the company my ability to support the leaders with their day-to-day tasks is greater as I can empathise fully. Similarly, working with our SENCO to adapt activities for children's specific developmental stages, learning difficulties and language barriers has been extremely rewarding. My pride for the role has led me to gain my SEN Diploma which I did independently to ensure that I can provide the best care and support with the resources provided. Day to day I liaise with parents which has improved my confidence and verbal communication as has staff observations.The biggest challenge that I have encountered in the role has been our Ofsted and Local Authority inspections, in which we were graded the highest bar. My managerial style is constantly changing and improving as we undergo consistent training ran by Inspiring Learning who also scouted me last year to join their team training employees for companies like Disney.

Chaperone and Safeguarding Lead
February 2024 – present
Since obtaining my chaperone license in February 2024, I have chaperoned at numerous performances at Epsom Playhouse and Sadlers Wells. This is also where I was given the responsibility of being the onsite safeguarding lead, in which any concerns get escalated to me to then correspond with the multi-agency safeguarding hub or local authority designated officer. I adore being backstage; the energy is incomparable.

The role has provided me with a combination of skills in waitressing, customer service, communication and managing a team. I had the opportunity to progress within the company resulting in management responsibilities, such as delegating daily tasks and organising parties. Since November 2023, I have obtained a creative position in which I design activity programmes for children and organise sessions, celebrations, and events. On a weekly basis I manage a team who deliver parties to children aged between 1 and 6 years old.
