My Experience

While I haven’t worked as a professional babysitter, I have plenty of hands-on experience looking after children. I'm the oldest of 10 grandchildren in my family and I also have younger siblings, nieces, and nephews. Over the years, I’ve regularly helped care for them—whether it’s keeping them entertained, helping with meals, bedtime routines, or just being a responsible and supportive presence. Being around kids has always come naturally to me, and I’ve often been the one family members turn to when they need an extra set of hands. I'm confident, caring, and always focused on making sure kids feel safe, happy, and engaged.

My Qualifications

I have completed an FAIB-approved Paediatric Emergency First Aid at Work course (6 hours) through the Skills Training Group. This certification is valid for three years starting from 19/05/25 and covers essential first aid skills and knowledge as required by The Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and The Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. This training ensures I am well-prepared to handle a range of emergency situations with confidence and care, especially when working with children.

My Availability

While I do have some planned time away over the summer for coastal rowing competitions and visiting family, I’m fully flexible whenever I’m at home. During those times, I’m happy to help at any time of day—mornings, afternoons, evenings, or even short notice if needed. I’m committed to being reliable and supportive, and I’ll always communicate my schedule clearly so you know when I’m available to help out.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

My babysitting rate is £12 per hour. This reflects my experience, flexibility, and recent Paediatric Emergency First Aid certification. I'm committed to providing safe, reliable, and caring support for your family, and I'm happy to discuss any specific needs or arrangements.
