Hi! I'm Ellie, a friendly, caring and responsible recent Interior Design graduate. I have recently returned from spending two months in Barcelona as an au pair, where I became part of the family's daily life and gained valuable experience caring for and spending time with children. I really enjoy creating a fun, positive and caring environment for children. I'm happy to get involved in activities, games, creative projects and spending time outdoors, while also being responsible and reliable when it comes to routines and childcare.
As I am currently looking for opportunities to begin my career in Interior Design, I have a flexible schedule and would love to take on babysitting and childcare opportunities alongside my job search. I'm currently living at home and am looking forward to meeting families and helping out where I can! I would describe myself as warm, patient, trustworthy and easy to get along with, and I always aim to make children feel comfortable, safe and happy in my care.
My Experience
Au Pair | Barcelona, Spain | July–August 2026
I spent two months living with a family in Barcelona as an au pair, caring for three girls aged 6, 9 and 11. My responsibilities included helping to look after the children, preparing and cooking meals, and supporting the family with their daily routines. I enjoyed spending time with the girls and becoming part of their family life during my stay.
I also regularly helped to look after the girls' 9-month-old cousin, giving me experience caring for younger children and babies as well as school-aged children.
Living with the family helped me develop my confidence, responsibility and adaptability, while creating a caring, fun and supportive environment for the children.
My Qualifications
First-Class BA (Hons) Interior Design graduate from Manchester Metropolitan University. I also have GCSE and A-Level qualifications.
My Availability
I am available to start immediately and currently have a flexible schedule. As I am actively seeking a graduate role in Interior Design, I am looking for babysitting opportunities while I am based at home. My availability may change in the future, but I would always communicate this well in advance.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
