My Requirements

My daughter will be 3 in July 2025 and we are hoping find a childminder that she could go to for a few hours a week starting September 2025, but the start date is flexible. We are only looking at the mornings and/or afternoons during the week. I'll be picking her up and dropping her off. She has congenital heart disease and a compromised immune system, so I am looking for a childminder who is sensitive, detailed and observant, and preferably someone who has experience with looking after children with medical/special needs. They will not need to administer medication or carry out anything medical, but to have high hygiene standards, good communication with the parents, and to be very attentive and responsive to any signs of concern with my daughter's health. I would like to know if any of the other children under their care have contagious illnesses and to have the flexibility of taking my child home if the illnesses are posing a high risk to her. We would like our daughter to have the freedom to roam outdoors and indoors. We want her to be happy and feel at home and also make friends. Safeguarding is extremely important, and we will want to meet everyone involved in her care and everyone who lives in the household that she may have contact with. No school pickups. Preferably looks after only a few kids in the same age range as my daughter (2-5).
