About Me
Hello, my name is Lucy-ann Fowler, i have been a ofsted registered childminder since dec 2011. i was a nanny previously.
I am 32 years old and married to matthew, we have 2 children Benjamin aged 11years and Aimee aged 6 years.
we provide a friendly warm and happy environment for your children in our home.
My Experience
I have worked with children as a nanny since 2002 looking after children aged birth- 14years. I then became a mummy to my two children and began childminding as i felt this suited my family life style better.
I have remained in contact with lots of the children i have looked after, and they often come to visit me as teenangers/young adults.
At my recent ofsted inspection (June 2017) I was graded outstanding.
we enjoy going on lots of outings including local toddler groups, parks, play areas, music groups and the libary.
i provide a warm friendly environment and supply lots of age related toys including, jigsaws, dressing up, books, a kitchen, lego, duplo, building blocks, dolls,prams,happy land figures, etc. the children have acess to childs cameras, the television and supervised sessions on the computer and internet, craft materials and play dough.
the children also enjoy our baking sessions and story times.
we also have equiptment for outside play.
the equiptment avaliable will depend on the age and stage of your child.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I can accept childcare vouchers.
I can also offer the government funding for children aged 3 and 4 yrs which if up to 15 hrs free childcare a week. I can also offer the new 30 hours funded childcare.
I can also offer this to some 2 yr olds if they meet the government requirements, please contact me for more information on this.

Lucy has been looking after my 11 month old daughter Lyla since March and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a capable, friendly and reliable childminder. Her setting is homely and clean, she regularly takes the children out on trips and creates interesting activities for them, and she has been understanding and helpful through problems with fussy eating and separation anxiety. Lyla loves going to Lucy's and comes home thoroughly worn out and happy, meaning we can relax at work knowing she is having a fun and stimulating day with Lucy.
Overall
My daughter has been going to Lucy's for over a year now. She looks forward to spending time with Lucy and the other children and always comes home very happy. Lucy provides a great range of activities and meals, and I'm confident to leave my daughter in her very capable hands, knowing she will be safe and well looked after.

thank you for time to write this review I have enjoyed looking after jess and the other children all look forward to when she comes back
I have had my daughter looked after here for 2 years, I would highly recommend. Very welcoming, friendly and happy atmosphere with lots of toys and crafty activities done every time. My daughter really enjoyed the variety of activities that were on offer, and was very excited about telling me what she had been up to.
