My Experience

I am a Social Work graduate from Germany, now based in London, with experience supporting children, young people, and families. I have worked in a Child Contact Centre in Lewisham and volunteered at a children’s home in South Africa, organising activities, camps, and educational projects.

I grew up in a big family, helping care for my younger siblings and cousins, and I have also looked after children at summer camps.

I am fluent in English and German, reliable, friendly, and passionate about creating a safe, positive environment for children. I am currently looking to support families through flexible childcare while I work towards becoming a registered social worker in the UK.

My Qualifications

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Evangelische Hochschule Berlin, where I studied social sciences, legal foundations, and core social work methods. I have practical experience supporting children and families through placements in a child contact centre in London and voluntary work at a children’s home in South Africa. My background is complemented by strong communication, organisational skills, and cultural sensitivity. I am fluent in English and German, with basic Spanish skills, and I hold a European Type B driving licence.

My Availability

I am currently between jobs and have a few part-time commitments, but I am flexible and reliable when I take on a job. I am happy to discuss and arrange specific hours.
