My Experience
I bring a unique blend of international teaching and hands-on childcare experience to my work with families. I’ve worked as a teacher in China, supporting children aged 5–15 in their learning and language development, and have also nannied in Australia, caring for little ones aged 8 months to 3.5 years. These roles deepened my skills in creating engaging, age-appropriate activities while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
More recently, I’ve worked as a therapeutic childcare practitioner, supporting children with complex emotional and behavioural needs. This role has given me a deeper understanding of trauma-informed care, emotional regulation, and the importance of consistency, empathy, and play-based connection.
On a personal note, I’m also a proud and involved auntie to my nieces and nephews (aged 1 to 4), which keeps me very familiar with the joys and demands of early childhood!
I’m trained in safeguarding and experienced in adapting care to meet individual needs. Whether it’s imaginative play, supporting routines, or simply offering a calm and caring presence, I strive to help children feel secure, confident, and happy.
