About Me
I'm a first-time, single mum based in Halesowen, preparing to welcome my baby in July 2025. I work in higher education in a compliance-focused role and take pride in being organised, thoughtful, and reliable. As I navigate this new chapter, I’m looking to build a supportive and trusting relationship with someone experienced in caring for young babies.
Creating a calm, nurturing, and secure environment for my child is my top priority. While I’m independent and proactive, I value the consistent support of a kind, capable babysitter who genuinely enjoys working with infants and is sensitive to the needs of new mothers.
My Requirements
I'm currently expecting my first baby, due in late July 2025, and I’m looking to secure a reliable, caring, and experienced babysitter in advance. From September 2025, I will need support for 3 hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday each week. By this time, the baby will be approximately 6 weeks old.
This initial arrangement is to help me gradually adjust and create a calm, consistent routine for the baby. I am looking for someone who has experience with newborns, is attentive to infant needs, and is comfortable with bottle feeding, nappy changes, and supporting sleep routines.
Looking Ahead: There is potential for this to become a longer-term arrangement. From September 2026, I will be returning to work, and will likely require a part-time or possibly full-time childcare solution. I’d love to build a relationship with someone who could grow with our family and provide continuity of care.
