My Experience

I have over three years of childcare experience, working with children ranging from 8 months to 10 years old in both nannying and babysitting roles. Throughout this time, I have supported a variety of families, adapting to each household’s individual needs and routines while providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.

I have worked with many families, undertaking a range of responsibilities including preparing children for school, school drop-offs and pick-ups, organising fun activities during school holidays, meal preparation, supporting mealtimes, light household duties, transporting children to extracurricular activities, managing bath and bedtime routines and overnight roles.

In addition, I completed work experience in a primary school Reception class, where I assisted the class teacher with daily classroom activities, supported children in settling into their learning environment, and providing one-to-one work.

I have also cared for children before school, supporting morning routines, helping them prepare for the day ahead, and promoting meaningful interaction and play rather than excessive screen time.

More recently, I volunteered in Tanzania, where I worked across two daycare centres supporting the care and development of young children. As part of this role, I also taught English, planned and delivered engaging lessons and interacted with a large number of children. Through this I was able to strengthen my adaptability, communication skills, and relationship with children as it placed me in a completely new and unfamiliar environment.

Furthermore, I completed a five week nannying summer contract where I worked alongside their full time nanny, caring for three children aged 1 to 5. I supported the children through their daily routines including mealtimes, nap time, entertainment and bedtime. I also organised outings and activities at home, ensuring the children were engaged and happy throughout the day.

My Qualifications

- 9 GCSE'S including food preparation and nutrition.
- 3 A - levels in Sociology, Religious Studies and Spanish
- I speak fluent Spanish
- Driving liscence, clean and full.
- Basic DBS check.
- Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Training
- Liability insurance.
- Level 2 sailling course.

My Availability

I am pretty flexible up until December and then unsure of travel plans come January :)

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
