About Me
A bit about the family: Parents are both originally from the US and work at different tech startups (mother works from home). We have our 4 year old daughter and a 15 month old daughter (who has her own childcare until 6pm, then mother will be around to help with all).
My Requirements
Hi! We're looking for an after school nanny for our 4 year old daughter. She's kind and curious, and she loves reading, music, playing outside, and making things.
What we're looking for:
We need help with pick-up, supporting play and homework, cooking dinner (for the whole family), bath time, bedtime, general tidying and occassional laundry. We would be looking for 2/3pm start time until 7:30/8pm, with school pick-up at 3pm (or occassionally 5pm) (hours are a bit negotiable).
Responsibilities include:
- Pick-up from school in EC1M
- Supporting play and homework. This may include playdates at the playground, library, or museums
- Cooking dinner for whole family (or some days playing with kids, while a parent cooks) and supporting good eating habits
- Bedtime routine including bath
- General tidying. Cleaning after the kids and a once weekly general vacuum
- Occassional laundry, helping with hanging or putting away clothes for the whole family. No ironing
About you:
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Friendly and warm
- Generally practices more responsive care and Montessori principles that would allow our daughter opportunities to explore and take responsibility. Authoritative but not authoritarian!
- Good cook
- Sensible self-starter
- Good communicator
- Non-smoker
