Hello! I’m Helia, a trainee Psychologist currently completing a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology, with an MSc in Neuroscience and years of experience in tutoring and childcare. My approach is holistic and centred on understanding both your child and their world. I support children in navigating common developmental challenges, using teaching methods grounded in cognitive science and brought to life through engaging, hands-on learning.
I’ve worked with children aged 1 to 16 in both one-on-one and small group settings, and previously managed an after-school tutoring centre. I’m well-versed in the UK curriculum and deeply attuned to children’s emotional and cognitive needs. My strength lies in designing personalised learning plans that support academic progress alongside emotional wellbeing, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

I have extensive experience working with children from as young as 1 year old up to age 16. With both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Psychology, I bring a deep understanding of child development, emotional wellbeing, and how to meet each child’s individual needs.
