My Experience

I am a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, working for an agency. I have worked with very complex children, mainly working through behavioural issues such as DBD and ADHD. Currently, I am based in a SEND school in Bury. This role has taught me so many valuable lessons, how to think on my feet, approaching situations from a wide range of angles, and most importantly, how to build a strong connection with a child in need.

Throughout the holidays I work for Explore Outdoor, a company based in Suffolk focused on involving children in fun activities! My day to day schedule involves caring for up to 10 children, doing a range of activities from Axe-throwing to making hot chocolate over a fire!

In 2023 I had a brilliant opportunity to volunteer at a school for several months. The experienced I gained here was so useful, and key to kickstarting my career. I helped with classroom activities, playtime, and formed a great understanding with so many of the kids. This is what solidified my interest in working with children.

My Availability

I am available Wednesday through to Sunday at various times of day.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My fees are flexible, I understand that a lot of families need childcare, families in all types of financial situations. Mainly, I will base my rates around the number of children and use that as a guide.
