About Me

Hello, I am a creative and passionate primary school teacher with over eleven years experience. I have spent much of my career leading English, Phonics and Early Reading as a key interest and specialism of mine. I am very passionate to support children in all areas of the curriculum in friendly, supportive and holistic way.

My Experience

- Over eleven years of experience working both within Foundation Stage, KS1 and KS2
- Experience as a phonics and English lead within several of the schools I have worked within.
- A specialism and interest in phonics and early reading with experience and training of a variety of phonics schemes including Read Write Inc.
- Experience as a Key Stage Lead
- A vast amount of experience spent in KS1 however I am currently a KS2 teacher working in a mixed year 3/4 class.
- Experience and success in developing and leading focused interventions targeting rapid progression.

My Qualifications

-A degree in primary education (BEd 5-11) from the University of Gloucestershire
-Qualified Teacher Status
- I am enhanced DBS checked
- A levels (History, English Literature and Politics)
- GCSEs (11 A - C)

My Availability

I am available for tutoring most evenings after school during term time. During school holidays I can offer tutoring at any time during the week.
