About Me

Hi, my name is Ellie and I am 22 years old. I am a funny person, my social skills are improving every day as well as my communication. I can be quite shy when I first meet new people but as soon as I warm up I don’t stop talking. I am reliable, honest, kind and open minded. I love working with children and making a difference to their lives, I love helping them learn new things and help them to enhance their development. Working with children is a very rewarding job and that’s why I chose to work with children.

My Experience

I am currently working in a nursery, I went to college and did a childcare course and achieved my level 2. Before I started childcare I would babysit friends and family’s children. I then started childcare and have worked in childcare for nearly 6 years. I work with children from birth to 5 years so I have a lot of experience in every age range. I have always been around children in my family so I have lots of experience with children in the home setting.

My Qualifications

I have got a few qualifications from school. I achieved my level 2 qualification in childcare and have competed 1 year of my level 3 childcare also. I have done many online training courses related to childcare. I have an up to date dbs check and an up to date first aid certificate.

My Availability

As I work 4 days a week and have other commitments on my day off I would be available almost every weekend. I would prefer no earlier than 9am and no later than 10pm.
