About Me
Mother to a wonderful four year old. I'm also a freelance Art workshop facilitator and Author - Illustrator for children, which means my availability it's more flexible. I have two cats ?, a good sized back garden, lots of toys for children to play with inside, including an art corner and toy kitchen. Happy to babysit at my home, I'm also open to being a nanny in others homes depending on my own childcare availablity, as well as home cleaning/general support as and when.
My Experience
I have my own daughter who is four this year, and as the primary parent to her, I have lived experience of motherhood. I have a calm, compassionate and empathetic nature. I also run art workshop for children, which i'd be happy to do with your child when being a Nanny/babysitting.
While I haven't got formal childcare qualifications, being a parent is my most rewarding job to date, and I'd love to help other families too.
My Qualifications
Mother to four year old. Safeguarding training certificate, and lone working certificate from Hey Mind when I volunteered for them. Unrelated to childcare but I also have a Ba (hons) Degree in printed textile design, which helps with my art workshops.
My Availability
Wednesdays when my daughter is at pre-school.
She starts school in September, so my daytime availability will increase. However, I am also happy to babysit at my home when my daughter is also home, if you are comfortable with this ?
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Basic hourly rate would increase for any evening/weekend work.
