About Me

Hello,
My name is Harriet and I am a newly Ofsted registered Childminder called Milestone House Childminding based in Rufforth Village. We are about 6.5miles from York city centre and have great access to both York and Wetherby.
Myself, husband and two children live in a beautiful spacious home with a playroom that has free flow access to our lovely enclosed garden.
At Milestone House Childminding we provide a safe, nurturing environment for children to flourish and grow. We are a eco conscious household implementing everyday routine with the environment in mind. We love the outdoors and believe that childhood should be full of fresh air, muddy boots and adventure. We often take the indoors out with learning opportunities that can expand into nature, come rain or shine! :)

My Experience

I have worked in Early Years for 19 years and have experience in different ages from babies up to school.
I have worked private day nurseries over the years as well as working overseas in an International school with pre school age children. I have two children of my own so very much understand family life, being a mother and the importance of finding the right setting and care that meet the needs for you and your child.

My Qualifications

CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education
CACHE Award in Preparing to work in home based childcare.
Full Paediatric First Aid training
Food Hygiene Certificate
City of York Council Safeguarding training.

My Availability

I am offering three days a week:
Tuesday 8.00am-5.00pm
Wednesday 8.00am-5.00pm
Thursday 8.00am-5.00pm

I am currently not offering wrap around care but this may change when once I have been childminding for a while.

My Fees

Opening Hours: Tuesday-Thursday 8.00am- 5.00pm
Daily rate: £65.00
Consumables fee of £6 per day. (includes hot evening nutritious meal, nappies, wipes, snacks, outings and extra curricular activities)

Ad hoc sessions for already enrolled children-
Full day £65.00
Half day offering: £32.50 (8.00am-12.30pm or 12.30pm-5.00pm)
Hourly rate: £7.22
Consumables fee: £6 per full day or £3 per half day (includes evening meal, nappies, wipes, snacks, outings and extra curricular activities)
