My Experience

After almost 5 years dedicated to raising my children, I am now returning to the workforce with a clear and purposeful career change. My lived experience raising children on my own has given me firsthand insight into the challenges families face, as well as the resilience, empathy, and problem-solving skills needed to support them effectively. This journey has inspired me to pursue a career where I can help other families access the understanding, encouragement, and resources they need. I bring with me strong emotional intelligence, exceptional time management, and a deep, personal commitment to making a positive difference in people’s lives.

My Qualifications

I was made redundant shortly after I found out I was pregnant in 2020. Since then I have dedicated myself raising my children, two boys aged 4 and 2!

During this period, I was the sole caregiver for my children. This role required excellent multitasking, prioritisation, and resilience—skills I developed through managing the home, supporting my children emotionally and practically, and navigating challenges independently. It also gave me a deep understanding of the emotional and practical pressures that many families face—insight that I now want to channel into supporting others professionally. My experience has equipped me with strong empathy, adaptability, and an authentic drive to help families thrive.
