About Me
My name is Aimee and I am an Ofsted registered Childminder based on the border of Ramsgate/Broadstairs. I live very close to a big park which has open spaces, a playground and woody areas which are great for exploring. My childcare service is called Little Explorers and we will explore our local areas daily. I am a qualified Teacher and for the last 14 years I have taught 3-5 year olds across schools, school nurseries and private nurseries. I have two boys of my own: a 5 year old and a nearly 2 year old. I understand how difficult it can be to find the right childcare for your child so please get in tough to come for a visit, have a chat and to find out if Little Explorers is the right choice for your family.
My Experience
I have taught Reception class (4 - 5 year olds) in two local primary schools. When I became Early Years Leader, I taught in the school nursery (3 - 4 year olds). After having my first child, I worked as the qualified teacher in a local Montessori Nursery (2.5 - 4 year olds).
My Qualifications
I have a BA Hons degree in Teaching
I also have my paediatric first aid qualification, Safeguarding children and designated lead certificate and Food Hygiene.
My Availability
I work term times, Monday - Thursday.
My hours are 8-4:30 but can be flexible from 7:30 and up to 5:00 where needed.
