About Me

My name is Hannah, I am a 24 year old South African who has been living in London since March 2022. I have been working in childcare for the past 6 years with experience in nannying and education. I began my childcare journey in the classroom as a TA for a Reception class in South Africa and was based there for 2 years. I left South Africa to come to London and pursue a career in nannying and was successful in doing so. I was a live-in nanny for a family for 3 years and absolutely loved my job! Once our time together came to an end I rejoined the classroom setting as a 1:1 Learner Support Assistant which has been such a delightful experience. I am passionate about early childhood development and creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. I am a keen chef and love creating delicious and nutritious meals (and a delicious sweet treat every now and then)! I am DBS checked and am on the update system. I have a valid, clean driver’s licence with plenty of experience driving in London with children. I love to do anything that requires creativity such as painting, drawing, clay crafts, I thoroughly enjoy baking and would try to incorporate these interests with my work with children! I love being outdoors and encourage as much outside play as possible (when it’s not tipping it down!).
