About Me
I’m a mum of three and a qualified Early Years Teacher, having worked in schools for 15 years. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. I provide high-quality care tailored to each child’s needs, supporting their development through engaging activities and a warm, home-from-home setting. I love to encourage outdoor learning and giving children the natural experiences of the world around them.
My Experience
Alongside my professional experience working in schools teaching primary aged children, being a mum of three has given me hands-on insight into the joys and challenges of raising children.
I am trained in paediatric first aid, safeguarding and child protection. I have years of SEND experience and delivering the EYFS curriculum. I have extensive knowledge of child development and skills to identify potential developmental barriers. I can support children in preparation for school learning with years of knowledge in teaching phonics, reading and maths. I am up to date with best practice for children's learning and development.
I hold a full enhanced DBS certificate.
My Qualifications
BA hons in early years education with Qualified teacher status.
Trained in baby massage and baby yoga.
Currently working towards a "Hygge" accreditation for my setting.
My Availability
Flexible hours. School drop off and pick up from Shirland Primary School
8:00 - 5:30 Mon - Fri.
Term time funded hours.
I offer options for early drop off at 7:30 including breakfast and late collections till 6pm.
I offer care during the school holidays.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Before school care - £7
After school care - £15
Pre-school children - £7 an hour
My Local Schools
