About Me

Hello and welcome!
I'm a qualified childminder based in SE7, and I proudly run Auntie Mae's Little Learners, a warm, inclusive, and nurturing home-from-home environment where children can play, learn, develop, and feel safe, valued, and loved.

With over 10 years of experience working with children and families, I have supported children in a variety of settings, including a Mother and Baby Unit, residential care, and as a Foster Carer. I am also a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with more than 9 years of experience, which has equipped me with valuable skills in supporting children's emotional wellbeing, resilience, and overall development.

As a mother of two, I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident that their child is happy, safe, and thriving while they are away. I am committed to providing a high standard of childcare that gives parents and carers complete peace of mind. Every child in my care is treated with the same love, respect, and attention that I would want for my own children. Building strong, positive relationships with both children and families is at the heart of everything I do.

What I Offer:
My home is bright, spacious, and carefully designed to encourage learning through play. It is a non-smoking and pet-free environment, providing a safe and welcoming space for young children.

I care for no more than four children at a time, allowing me to provide personalised care and plenty of one-to-one attention. I offer a variety of enriching experiences, including daily trips to local parks, soft play centres, and music and rhyme sessions, helping children to develop socially, physically, emotionally, and cognitively. All activities are carefully planned in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring that each child is supported to reach important developmental milestones while learning through play in a fun and nurturing environment.

Children in my setting enjoy:
