About Me
Hello! I’m currently training to become a primary school teacher, starting my course this September. I’m enthusiastic, caring, and love working with children of all ages. I have a BSc in Medical Sciences and achieved A* grades in Maths, Biology, and Psychology at A Level. I’m available for both private tutoring and babysitting, and I’m passionate about helping children feel supported, confident, and happy — whether that’s with schoolwork or in a home environment. I hold a full driving licence, have my own car, and my enhanced DBS check is currently being processed and will be completed in the next couple of weeks.
My Experience
I have experience tutoring Maths, particularly at primary and early secondary levels, and I’m confident supporting all primary subjects. My academic background and teacher training mean I understand the curriculum and how to tailor learning to each child’s needs. Beyond tutoring, I’ve also worked as a group leader at children’s summer camps, looking after groups of all ages, planning activities, and making sure everyone was safe and having a great time. I bring patience, energy, and a calm, friendly approach to everything I do, whether it’s helping with homework, building confidence in tricky subjects, or offering fun and caring babysitting.
My Qualifications
• 10 A* GCSEs, including Maths, English Language, English Literature, and the Sciences
• 3 A* A Levels in Maths, Biology, and Psychology
• First Class BSc in Medical Sciences
• Distinction in Master’s degree in Public Health
• Currently training to become a qualified Primary School Teacher (starting September 2025)
• Enhanced DBS check (pending – expected within the next few weeks)
• Full UK driving licence and own car
My Availability
From September, I’ll be available after school, in the evenings, and on weekends. I have more flexibility during school holidays (including Summer 2025) and can offer daytime hours then too. I’m happy to help with regular tutoring or babysitting, or with occasional support as needed. I have my own transport, so I can travel to you easily.
