My Experience

I have experience caring for children from babies through to five years old in a nursery setting, as well as providing babysitting care for families. I currently work as an Early Years Educator at Kids Planet Nursery, where I have gained valuable hands-on experience supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.

In my nursery role, I work with children aged 2–3 in the toddler room and have experience supporting children across different early years age groups. My responsibilities include planning and supporting age-appropriate activities, encouraging learning through play, assisting with meals and snacks, supporting personal care and hygiene routines, and helping children develop their communication, independence and social skills.

I understand that every child is unique and have experience adapting my approach to meet individual needs. I am confident supporting children's emotional wellbeing, encouraging positive behaviour, following safeguarding procedures and creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment. I also have experience working alongside colleagues and supporting children with additional needs.

Alongside my nursery experience, I have provided babysitting care and understand the importance of being reliable, attentive and approachable when working within a family's home. I am happy to help with playtime, bedtime routines, preparing simple meals and snacks, and keeping children entertained with fun, age-appropriate activities.

My experience has helped me develop patience, responsibility, communication skills and a genuine understanding of children's needs. I take pride in helping children feel safe, happy and supported while giving parents peace of mind that their little ones are in caring hands.

My Qualifications

I hold a range of qualifications relevant to childcare, early years education and supporting children's health, safety and development.

Childcare and Education Qualifications:

Level 3 Early Years Practitioner (NVQ Level 3)

Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care

Level 3 TEFL Qualification

First Aid and Safeguarding:

Paediatric First Aid Certificate (12-hour course)

Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service

I am committed to providing safe, nurturing and high-quality childcare. My training and practical experience have given me a strong understanding of children's development, safeguarding, personal care, play-based learning and the importance of creating a positive environment for every child.

I am happy to provide evidence of my qualifications, DBS status and references upon request.

My Availability

I am available for full-time nannying, babysitting, evening and weekend childcare, as well as ad-hoc and temporary nannying opportunities. I am happy to discuss individual family needs and can offer flexible support depending on the hours and responsibilities required.

I am particularly interested in supporting families who need an extra helping hand with day time childcare, after-school routines, evening babysitting, weekend care or occasional cover. I am happy to help with children's meals, playtime, homework where appropriate, bath and bedtime routines, and other childcare-related responsibilities.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)

My fees are flexible and open to discussion depending on the type of childcare required, the number of children, hours and responsibilities involved. I am happy to discuss a rate that works fairly for both the family and myself.
