My childcare requirements are not very straight forward. I am a night vet nurse, and my rota is 4 on 8 off. Meaning the days I would require childcare would never be the same. Whilst I have my rota always a year in advance, the days would go something like this for example. I might work Saturday to Tuesday, so I would need childcare Monday Tuesday and Wednesday (I finish Wednesday morning but will need the day to sleep and recover from my shift ) then the following week I would need Thursday , Friday and Monday And so on. I also want to know do child carers take government funded hours as I would be entitled to 30 free hours a week by the time my baby is 9 months.
