Hello! My name is Lucy.
I am a paramedic currently on maternity leave with my 9 month old son.
I am taking an extended period off work in order to devote my time to my son.
We are looking for a child who would like to come and join us. We enjoy walks to the park, feeding the ducks, days out and afternoons playing at home. I enjoy cooking healthy snacks and meals for my son and providing a calm and safe atmosphere for him to play and grow in.
I can offer a home from home environment and offer the same care and attention that I show to my own son to your child. You can rest assured that your child will be well looked after in your absence.
I enjoy engaging with children in meaningful conversations and including them in what I am doing. I am kind, compassionate and fair. I believe in creating an atmosphere where children can be themselves and flourish.
I am available for school picks up in the Horsham area.
My Experience
I have previously worked as a mother’s help/ nanny for 5 years before beginning a career in healthcare. I have worked with children from newborn to teenagers and also children who have extra needs such as autism. I have a bachelor degree in paramedic science.
My Qualifications
No childcare qualifications but loads of experience.
Being a paramedic I am DBS checked and have more than the basic first aid experience.
My Availability
I am looking for a child to join us 2/3 days per week and can be flexible for the right family.
I am also available for school picks up/after school care.
Also available for ad hoc daytime babysitting.
I could do weekends if required.
