My Experience

I currently work with a childcare company that provides after-school care for children of various ages. In this role, I spend my time engaging children through play, supporting them with challenges, and creating a fun, safe environment where they can unwind after school. My responsibilities also include preparing meals and snacks, which has helped me become confident in multitasking while keeping children's needs at the center.

Outside of my professional role, I’ve had hands-on experience babysitting my younger brother since he was little. This early responsibility taught me a lot about patience, caretaking, and how to build strong, trusting relationships with children — all of which continue to shape how I work with kids today.

My Qualifications

I hold an up-to-date DBS check and have completed A-Levels in Psychology and Sociology, which give me a strong understanding of child development and behavior. This educational background provides a valuable advantage in recognizing and responding to the emotional and developmental needs of children. Additionally, I have completed Prevent Awareness and Safeguarding training, ensuring I can provide a safe, supportive, and responsible environment for every child in my care.

I’m a highly flexible and reliable individual, with the ability to accommodate a wide range of scheduling needs — including availability on short notice. Whether it’s regular care or last-minute support, I’m committed to being there when families need me most.
