About Me
I have a daughter of nearly 2 (22 months) called Sìrene. Me and her father haven't been out together since she has been born and we're wanting to spend a night just going to have dinner. But Sìrene is still breastfed. She is on solids and eats food during the day but she still breastfeeds asleep and occasionally will comfort nurse during the day. This is why it's been so difficult. I am also very stressed about leaving her alone as we practice gentle parenting and need to be sure that whoever babysits, will also follow that. We have had a trial run with my partner's mum but she gets very tired and gets stressed out and I just don't trust that she won't lose her cool with Sìrene.
My Requirements
Sìrene is very strong willed and independent. We need someone that will practice gentle parenting (not to be confused with permissive). We just want to go out for a 2 hour meal. Sìrene would be awake as she is less likely to want to nurse than if she was asleep as when I get her asleep and she wakes up and wants to nurse, she gets really stressed out. We do suspect Autism but she's too young yet to be diagnosed. I know this sounds like a lot but she's the sweetest little butter ball that just needs a bit of extra attention and care. She's happy sitting and playing with you or watching her shows. (Please no Peppa Pig) Big Cook Little Cook, Bluey, Daniel Tiger, Ms. Rachel, The Wiggles and the original Fireman Sam or Mr Roger's Neighbourhood is what she watches as we've made sure that they are all either educational or low stimulation.
