About Me
Hi, I’m Lauren, a friendly, warm, and caring parent and a newly Ofsted-registered childminder based in Brighouse. As a mum of three wonderful children aged 15, 11, and 5, I truly understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your little one—someone who will treat them like family.
I offer a home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy, and genuinely loved. I have always enjoyed working with children and feel so lucky to be able to provide a space where they can grow, explore, and build their confidence in a calm, caring setting.
My Experience
I have a strong passion for working with children and have gained both personal and professional experience in creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where children can grow and thrive.
To support my role as an Ofsted-registered childminder, I have completed a wide range of professional training, including:

My Availability
I offer flexible childcare Monday to Thursday, from 7:30am to 5:30pm.
My services include:
•Full-day care
•Part-time care
•Wraparound care – school drop-off and pick-up from Field Lane Primary School
My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
full day £50 (includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks)
Half day (up to 12pm) £27 (includes breakfast and snack)
Wraparound £5.50 per hour (includes breakfast and tea, from field lane primary school)

- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Field Lane Primary School

I decided on a childminder for my daughter and I am so glad I came across Lauren. From the very first session my daughter settled straight away which has been an absolute weight lifted from my shoulders as she usually doesn’t take well to new people. Her welcoming presence and the calming nature she shows to the children is so lovely and you can tell how much she loves and takes pride in her job. She home cooks all of the meals and the snacks are always healthy and nutritious and the home is always lovely and clean. I love seeing my little girls face smiley and full of joy when she is with Lauren. Thank you so so much for the care you provide I couldn’t have chose a better person to look after my child.

I honestly couldn’t ask for a better childminder for my children. From day one, she has gone above and beyond to make them feel safe, loved, and completely at home. She treats them with so much care, patience, and kindness, and it really shows in how happy and settled they are with her.
She provides a warm, nurturing environment where the children are encouraged to learn, play, and grow, while also feeling secure and supported. Her routines, activities, and attention to each child’s individual needs are amazing, and I always have total peace of mind knowing my children are in the best hands.
Not only is she incredibly reliable and professional, but she genuinely cares about the children as if they were her own. I feel so lucky to have someone I trust completely looking after my children, and I cannot recommend her highly enough to any parent looking for exceptional childcare.

We are so grateful for the care our two children receive. It truly feels like a home from home — warm, nurturing, and welcoming.
