About Me

Hi, I’m Lauren, a friendly, warm, and caring parent and a newly Ofsted-registered childminder based in Brighouse. As a mum of three wonderful children aged 14, 10, and 4, I truly understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your little one—someone who will treat them like family.

I offer a home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy, and genuinely loved. I have always enjoyed working with children and feel so lucky to be able to provide a space where they can grow, explore, and build their confidence in a calm, caring setting.

My Experience

I have a strong passion for working with children and have gained both personal and professional experience in creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where children can grow and thrive.

To support my role as an Ofsted-registered childminder, I have completed a wide range of professional training, including:
• Ofsted-recognised Introductory Childminding Course
• Recognising Children’s Development
•Understanding the World and Working with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
•Leading and Managing a Childminding Setting
•Safeguarding Children (including Designated Safeguarding Lead training)
•Developing Children’s Learning
•Full Paediatric First Aid
•Food Hygiene and Safety
•Additional Safeguarding Training

These courses have given me a deep understanding of how children learn and develop, how to plan age-appropriate activities, and how to keep children safe, happy, and well cared for at all times.

I am committed to continuing my professional development so I can always offer the very best care and learning opportunities for the children in my setting.

My Fees

  • Childminding from £5.50 per hour

full day £50 (includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks)
Half day (up to 12pm) £27 (includes breakfast and snack)
Wraparound £5.50 per hour (includes breakfast and tea, from field lane primary school)

Fantastic provider

We are so grateful for the care our two children receive. It truly feels like a home from home — warm, nurturing, and welcoming. Lauren is kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, and both of our children are happy, settled, and thriving. We have complete trust and would highly recommend Lauren to any family.
The food is excellent and they really enjoy every meal.
