Afterschool Nanny / Mother’s Help Needed – Ofsted Registered

Single Mum, full-time job, two young children – Looking for practical and childcare support
Hi, I’m a single mum to two lovely children (ages 3 and 6), and I’ve just started a full-time job with long hours. With no family nearby and a demanding role, I’m looking for someone special to support us in the afternoons – ideally a kind, reliable nanny/mother’s help hybrid who understands the juggle and genuinely enjoys helping a home run smoothly.

What I’m looking for:
- Ofsted registered
- Able to collect my 3-year-old from nursery and then my 6-year-old from school from 2.45pm
- Provide care for them until I return home at 6pm
- Help with dinner prep for the children
- Light household tasks such as:
-Washing up
Tidying toys / general pick-up
Emptying the washing machine or folding a bit of laundry

This role is more than just childcare – it’s about helping me keep our little world turning. I’m doing this solo and want to give my children stability, calm, and care — It is going to be quite an adjustment to them to not have me there after school, so I just need a helping hand to make that possible.

I understand most childminders work from their own homes, but before I explore that route, I wanted to see if there’s someone out there who might be the right fit for this kind of home-based support.
