My Experience

Hello, parents or guardians. Firstly, i would say my experience with child care was amazing, but don't get me wrong, i had some challenging times, but i didn't hive up. I remember dealing with the family of twin 3 month old boys. Every day, i had to wake up at 7 to prepare these adorable kids' milk and food and tidy up before they awake. I had to get both of them with me teaching them to crawl, and involve them in different activities, teach them alphabet , numbers , colours ,read books, watch educational videos for babies and walks.i had to change the babies clothing alot, do laundry alot, foldimh alot of clothing and the hardest part was getting certain stains out of there clothing. I remember when taking them out for outing activities i had to prepare hot water , make sure there dry milk was in the bag or breast milk, wipes, changing outfits incase they mess up, pampers, diaperbrash cream, water to drink, rags, diaper changing mat. Also, i give these babies baths, give them milk, and put them to sleep. I also took care of a 6 year old boy who was going to school. I had to make sure get him off of his bed every morning and it wasn't easy to wake him in the morning because you know most kids are not a morning person, bath and brush his teeth, lotion him, dress him, brush his hair and also make him breakfast and we walk every morning and in the evening to drop him to school because the school was a walking distance. When he gets home from school i helped him with his home work and fix him dinner and also give him a bath and brush his teeth before bed and we will read books together and send him off to bed. We will also go to the park often to play football, and do different fun stuff and i will take him to activities and hiking. My list of kids i dealt with was two girls, a 6 and 7 years old. These beautiful kids had a lot to do every day. First of of all i will start in the week routine where i wake them and agian it was hard to get these kids as well off there bed, say there prayer because these kids were muslims so they had to pray five times each day, brush teeth and most times i give them a bath, lotion them , do there hair, dress them, fix them breakfast and we walk to school because it was a walking distance. I prepare dinner before i go and get them from school. When yhey get home they will have 3 prayers to do before they start there activities which they have each day are swimming, karate, kumon ,gymnastic, dance practice but on saturdays they have athletics and sundays they are basically free but not really free because they have alot of kumon to keep up with and also home work i have to help with. Yes, i do my best in between and have fun with them. we will play together different games and take them on their scooter for a ride, or we take the dog for walks. It was a great privilege to be in these kids life because ive learnes alot and I've improved so much, and they are amazing kids. I'VE learnt so much working with these different kids.
