About Me
Hi, I’m Gaby, I an experienced Early Years Practitioner and registered Childminder based in Borough Green.
I provide a warm, caring, and nurturing home-from-home environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow in confidence and independence.
As part of a multilingual household, I naturally introduce children to English, Spanish, and Italian through everyday conversation, songs, stories, and cultural experiences. I believe children learn best through play, exploration, and positive relationships, and I enjoy creating engaging experiences that support each child’s individual development and interests.
I use a variety of engaging resources, including Montessori-inspired toys and activities, which I rotate regularly to keep learning fun, stimulating, and suited to each child’s stage of development. I also enjoy incorporating natural and sustainable materials to encourage curiosity, creativity, and respect for the environment.
Healthy home-cooked meals and snacks are an important part of my setting, and I am always happy to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies. I encourage children to build healthy habits, confidence, and independence in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
I also value the importance of outdoor experiences, community connections, and opportunities for children to socialise, explore, and develop new skills in a safe and loving environment.
My aim is to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and enriching setting where every child feels happy, secure, and supported to thrive at their own pace.

My Experience
I have nearly 20 years of experience working with young children. Over the years, I’ve worked with—and led—teams in well-known childcare organisations such as LEYF (London Early Years Foundation), gaining extensive knowledge in early years development and high-quality childcare practices.
My Qualifications

- Childminding Training (through my agency)

My son has spent the last year at Gaby and he has loved every single day there. He runs inside without looking back and is excited about everything they do together. Gaby has made sure to create a beautiful setting that feels welcoming, safe and encouraging for young and growing minds. Her family-style, homemade meals have been a highlight and she makes sure to incorporate the childrens likes into the meals as well as introducing new and traditional flavours. I have loved that he has been exposed to different languages and cultures while learning about a vast array of topics. Everyday there are new and exciting (as well as developmentally appropriate) activities and themes to explore. My son was initially nervous and resistant to change but her calm and nurturing support have helped to protect his individuality and grow his confidence into a fun and vibrant young person ready for reception. Gaby was always open and clear with her communication as well as extremely understanding and professional. We have loved our year with her and I'm so glad to return with my second next year. I left my baby Sofia with Gabriela when she was not even 12 months old Mon to Fri for the whole day. Despite my daughter was extremely attached to me and took a little bit of time to settle Gabriela was there to support me and the baby during the difficult time of going back to work to a brand new job. She has been the most reassuring, nurturing and caring lovable person that really made it easier. She is a very nurturing childminder who provides a home to home type of setting ensuring your baby is also developed and stimulated in line with the appropriate age. Very experienced and very knowledgeable her passion and dedication to children speaks volume. I highly recommend her and would 100% have continued using her if i lived closer.
As a bonus she cooks divine and healthy food for every single meal of the day.
