Hi! I’m Camila and I would be delighted to take care of your little ones! I have great experience in childcare including working as a teacher in a nursery for over a year, special needs shadowing for over 6 months and taking care of my many nephews from newborns to teenagers. I studied Education in university and have learnt many valuable theories and techniques to educate and help children grow in a safe environment. I have also completed multiple DBS checks in order to work part time as a volunteer mentor for a childcare organisation and I am starting a PHCE in September for which I also had to complete a DBS check. I look forward to take care and hopefully have a nice fun time with your little ones!
My Experience
I volunteered throughout highschool for a mentoring company to spend weekends and tutor kids age 5 to 15. I have also worked in a nursery as classroom assistant for ages 2 to 5 for over a year during which I also was shadowing a special needs student aged 4 for a little over 6 months. I have experience in tutoring and mentoring kids ages 10 to 15 through a mentoring program called ReachOut which I partook as a placement for my Education degree and for which I had to complete a DBS check. I also currently have a DBS certificate as I am to start my PGCE teacher training in September. I have also had the pleasure to take care, baby sit and be part of the bringing up of many of my nephews specially my sister’s baby who I’ve taken care of since birth.
My Qualifications
I have a DBS check as well as a Degree in BSc Education and I am available for Spanish and French tutoring given my B2 certification in French and Native fluency in Spanish.
