My Summary

My Experience

Alongside studying my three A-Levels of Geography, Psychology and Music, I am also a keen dancer which I have been training in for 15 years now. In this time have represented my school at national competitions as well as teaching students from ages four upwards dances leading to performances, managing many cases of stage fright and lack of confidence, comforting the children. Dance was also a key part in my activities needed to complete my Duke of Edinburgh award, as well as volunteering at the Oxfam shop in Ipswich. I am also involved in my schools choir, again working with and teaching students from age four upwards which on the whole has taught me great leadership skills and ways to entertain and engage younger children. I have studied the flute and sung for 12 years now and piano for 7, along with working as a waitress at Hintlesham Hall, communicating with people of all ages, to help fundraise for a volunteer trip to Tanzania in 2024. During this trip I spent time at the Busungu Community Center where I contributed to the building of a library for the primary school along with getting the opportunity to spend time teaching the children, playing games and teaching English, a truly incredible experience and by far my favourite part. During my time at school I have also volunteered with the younger year groups, one example being the Crest Award project in which I spent time with children around years 4-6 helping them to engage in STEM subjects by performing their own science experiments, writing hypothesis and conclusions etc.

My Qualifications

GCSE's and A-levels. I am happy to get DBS checked if required.

My Availability

As I have now finished school, I am available both weekdays and weekends from before school to evening.
