About Me
Hello, my husband and I have recently welcomed our little baby Girl and are overjoyed. We both work shifts (though I am currently on maternity leave for a year, returning to work approx April 2026). I am in the emergency services and work long hours including weekends and nights. We aren’t originally from London so don’t have a lot of family support, Because of this we are looking for a child minder who we can trust and care for our baby like they are part of the family. My husband speaks multiple languages meaning our daughter will be bought up to speak 3 languages from the get go!
Like all parents we want the best for our daughter. It is important to us to provide her with a safe and happy environment where she has every opportunity to develop into a strong and well rounded little girl.
My Requirements
By April next year (when I am due to return to work and start with a child minder) our little one will be approximately 11 months old.
We need a child minder who allows for the government funded hours and ideally someone flexible in spreading those hours out.
As mentioned we work shifts however I have a set 5 week roster so always know what I am working. We need someone who is flexible to our needs and ideally able to help with weekends.
It is important to us that our child minder is active with our little one and engaging in educational activities.
I have selected days and times where we may require child care however it is something to be discussed in more detail due to the set roster I mentioned earlier.
