Hi, I'm Sebnem Orhun Genc — a Cambridge-based babysitter and nanny with a genuine enjoyment of working with children.
Before working in childcare, I worked in finance and banking for many years. After becoming a mum, I became more interested in children’s development and discovered how much I enjoy creating positive experiences and helping children grow with confidence.
I enjoy spending time with children through play, creativity, outdoor activities, and everyday routines. Through my training in creative drama and advanced creative writing, I developed a strong interest in storytelling, imagination, and creative ways of connecting with children, which I naturally bring into our time together.
As a mum to a six-year-old, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust. I aim to create a calm, warm, and reliable environment where children feel safe, comfortable, and free to be themselves.

Providing childcare support for local families, primarily for toddlers and pre-school-aged children. Responsibilities include supporting evening and bedtime routines, preparing simple meals and snacks, and engaging children through age-appropriate play and storytelling. I am available on weekdays and weekends, both during the daytime and in the evenings. I can be flexible depending on a family’s needs and am also happy to help during school holidays or with last-minute care when possible.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (net)
Daytime (Weekdays): £15 per hour
Evenings & Weekends: £20 per hour
