About Me

I'm Clair and after training at The Norland College, I have over 20 years experience of working as a Nanny in private households. After having 2 of my own children, I now work in the NHS in a specialist feeding team providing support to new mums in the first few weeks, advising on feeding and offering emotional support.

I provide a helpful, friendly and informative service that will both reassure and empower you as a new or expectant family, I can help you prepare effectively for your new arrival. From discussing feeding options to planning post natal support, or providing post natal support.

My Experience

I have extensive experience of working in private homes with families providing both practical and emotional support.
Educating parents on newborn care basics.
Providing reassurance and guidance, offering emotional support during the adjustment period.
Understanding of confidentiality and being respectful of boundaries.
I have in depth knowledge of establishing breast feeding, supporting responsive bottle feeding and what to expect in the very early days.
Knowledge and understanding of common newborn conditions, reflux, colic, jaundice.
Importance of post natal recovery, maternal rest and good nutrition.
