About Me
Hi! I’m Amanda – originally from Brazil and now living in South Leigh with my husband( he is English ), our 23-month-old daughter, 17 weeks old baby boy
and our six beloved dogs. I’ve called the UK home for the past 19 years and recently stepped into the beautiful (and sometimes chaotic!) world of motherhood.
We are a warm, busy family looking for a reliable and caring Family Assistant to help support our home and children.
We have a toddler (2 years old), a 4-month-old baby, and six friendly dogs. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys creating a calm, organized home environment and is confident caring for young children when needed.
Hours
* 3-5days per week
* Approximately 5-6 hours per day
* Flexible for the right person
About the Role
This is a combination of childcare and household support. We are not looking for someone who will be solely responsible for the children all day. Instead, we would love to find someone who can become an extra pair of hands for our family.
Responsibilities may include:
* Supporting with our toddler and baby when needed
* Watching the children for short periods so Mum can exercise, shower, cook, or attend appointments
* General tidying and household organization
* Laundry and putting clothes away
* Keeping bedrooms, play areas, and living spaces neat and organized
* Loading/unloading the dishwasher and keeping the kitchen tidy
* Light cleaning and household upkeep
* Helping maintain a calm, welcoming home environment
About You
* Experienced with babies and toddlers
* Kind, proactive, and trustworthy
* Organized and enjoys keeping a home running smoothly
* Happy to take initiative and see what needs doing
* Comfortable around dogs and an animal lover
* Reliable and looking for a long-term position with a lovely family
Our goal is to find someone who will help our home feel organized, peaceful, and well cared for, allowing our family to enjoy more quality time together and reduce the stress of busy daily life.
