About Me
Hi! My name is Sybil. I grew up in Essex as the youngest in my family, and I’ve always been surrounded by a lot of love, laughter, and energy — especially from my younger cousins, who I’ve helped look after over the years. Being the youngest myself, it’s been really rewarding to take on a more responsible, caring role with them.
Right now, I’m studying a pastry course, which I’m really enjoying. I love being creative in the kitchen and learning new skills. While I’m still figuring out exactly what I want to do in the future, I’m excited to explore different paths and see where life takes me.
Becoming a babysitter feels like a great opportunity to do something meaningful — to care for children, be part of a new family, and experience a different culture, all while continuing to grow as a person.
My Experience
I’ve looked after my two younger cousins, who are twin girls and are now 5 years old. I’ve also cared for another cousin since they were a baby — they’re now 3 — so I have experience with younger children too. In addition, I’ve looked after a 7-year-old girl who is the daughter of one of my dad’s friends.
My main responsibilities included making sure they were safe and happy, preparing meals, keeping them entertained with games or activities, and just being there to support and care for them. I really enjoy spending time with kids and creating a fun and comfortable environment for them.
My Qualifications
I have hands-on experience caring for young children, mainly through looking after my younger cousins and a family friend’s child. I’ve looked after toddlers and young kids, including twins, so I’m comfortable handling different age groups and managing more than one child at a time.
One of my strengths is cooking — I’m currently studying a pastry course, so I enjoy making fun, child-friendly meals and snacks. I’m confident in the kitchen and always make sure what I prepare is safe and suitable for children. I’m also creative, calm, and responsible, and I genuinely enjoy keeping kids entertained, whether it’s through crafts, games, outdoor play, or simple quality time.
I may not have formal childcare qualifications yet, but I’m caring, reliable, and eager to learn — and I’d love the chance to build more experience doing something I really enjoy.

Since I’m quite new to this willing to start at quite low and work my way up! This is very negotiable!
