I am currently a full-time primary school teacher based in Kingston Upon Thames, with a Qualified Teacher Status. I have always been involved in teaching and childcare and even studied Primary Education at university. I am passionate about providing children with a fun education where they know that making mistakes is okay. I have a caring and friendly approach to make sure children stay engaged and comfortable with their learning. Around my teaching, I have flexible time available for tutoring and babysitting, this includes school holidays.
My Experience
I am currently a full-time primary school teacher based in Kingston Upon Thames. I have been teaching in KS1 for 2 years and I currently co-lead Art and Design for my school. Before this, I was a supply teacher in London for a year, meaning I have a range of experience in ages 5-11. I have experience with babysitting and worked for 6 years in a children’s ceramic cafe where I ran children’s birthday parties and helped children get creative! At university, I studied Primary Education BA (Hons).
My Qualifications
I achieved a First in Primary Education BA (Hons) from Roehampton University with a Qualified Teaching Status. I have an up to date DBS check with my school. I have been teaching for three years. I studied Geography, Fine Art and English Language A Level. I have 9 GCSEs. I also have experience with babysitting.
My Availability
As I work full time in a school, my availability has to work around school hours and term dates. I am available after school, some weekends and during the school holidays.
