I work at a university and follow a structured workweek with a flexible pattern, including every other Friday off. My daughter Aaliyah is a bright, curious little girl who thrives with consistency, encouragement, and time to wind down after busy days.
We live just a few minutes from St Mary’s RC Primary School, and I’m looking to build a trusting, long-term relationship with a local childminder who can support us through the school year and holidays. Aaliyah is experience speech delay and therefore experience with SEND plans would be an advantage.

After-School Care
Days Needed: Monday–Friday (most likely 3–5 days/week depending on work pattern)
Hours: 3:15pm – 5:30pm (school pick-up + snack, wind-down play, indoor activities)
Location: Ideally childminder is based nearby or can collect from St Mary’s RC Primary School (NP20)
School Holiday Support
Flexible cover during half-terms and summer holidays
I’m happy to mix childminder care with annual leave — open to part-week arrangements
Ad Hoc Cover
INSET days or occasional extended work meetings (can be pre-agreed)

Aaliyah has a confirmed egg allergy and an allergy action plan in place.
She is on a SEND support plan for communication and listening skills. We work closely with her nursery and school to support this and can provide any supporting documentation.
We are looking for someone nurturing, experienced, and consistent — ideally someone who understands early years and enjoys supporting children’s routines.
We are eligible for Tax-Free Childcare and would prefer a provider who accepts it.
