Unofficial :) wife to Dan of 10years and mum to 1 6year old boy and 1 8year old girl.
We’ve lived in Newent for 10years as a family with our 2 cats ( Anna & Kristoff)
Dan is a local builder who runs his own company and I work in the hospitality industry, up until a year ago I worked part time but have now taken on a more senior role meaning I now have a full time position with longer hours and a longer commute.
Both children attended the local primary school in Newent being in years 1 and 3.
My Requirements
We are hoping to find someone that is able to help with the school pick ups (3.10pm) 3 days a week during term time for the forceable ( Wednesday, Thursday , Friday) to bring children home and be with them until approx 5/5.30 pm for when dad will be home from work, some days this could possible be slightly later but we would hope to give notice if this was the case but some flexibility might be required though not often.
General duties of role would be collection from school and bring home, prepare an after school snack ect and possibly help with some light home work if the children needed it, and if happy to help start an evening meal but the 2 latter are just an ideal.
Half terms we may require extended hours on the same days approx 9am-5.30pm
We have family that can also help here and there so wouldn’t be the full 3 days every week, but again we would give notice of what days we’d be looking for childcare well before the holidays were upon us
