Hello, my name is Valerie, I am situated in the Brinnington Stockport area and many thanks for being interested in my profile.
I am an Ofsted registered childminder graded good in all areas of our last inspection . My previous childcare experience is 12 years which include roles in a primary school, local authority nursery and also 2 private daycare nurseries.
My previous roles included being a creche manager, nursery nurse supply, nursery nurse, senior lead practitioner and also SEN support.
I am reliable, flexible and a caring practitioner that is available to offer you and your family 100'/. quality childcare, to the best of my ability.
My provision includes a dedicated play room with a variety of toys, books
and games which is like a mini nursery. I also provide a quiet area for children wanting to rest, including a travel cot for infants. I also have a large secured fenced garden area for the children to play.
Indoor activities include messy play, baking, junk modelling, mark making, painting, construction and small world. Within my play room is a book corner, role play area and sand/water play. Whilst a child is in my care it is my absolute
priority to keep the child safe, loved, cared for, happy and entertained.
I can provide a variety of different activities and learning experiences both indoors and outdoors. Also I am within walking distance of the local Children's center, Brinnington Library and Local Parks.

Just so you know who lives in my house with me. I have recently got married to my lo g yerm partnerJohn. I have 4 childten who have now all left home. We have a small dog called Teddy who is not permitted in the play room, while your children are in my care.

My first experience of children began with my own 4 children. I have 3 daughters and 1 son who have all left home now. Additionally, I have 10 grandchildren. All my grandchild keep me very busy when they visit and we always have fun.
In my professional experience, I have worked as a classroom assistant, creche manager, nursery nurse, senior lead practitioner and also supported a child who had down syndrome for a year, which was amazing.
Over the years, I have gained lots of personal and professional experience in caring for many children and now looking forward to implementing that into my childminding business.

I am registered to provide childcare for up to 9 children in total, with my 3 assistants, Elise (Granddaughter), Lynsey (Daughter) and Lillian (Sister) They all have a Enhanced DBS’s, first Aid training and safeguarding.
