Hello! I’m Kimberley, a qualified and passionate childminder running Bilingual Home — a warm, welcoming, and bilingual setting based in Peterborough.

As a mum myself, I know how important it is to find a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where your child can thrive. In my home, little ones are cared for like family, with plenty of opportunities to explore, learn, and grow — all at their own rhythm.

I follow a gentle, Montessori-inspired approach, encouraging independence, creativity, and confidence through hands-on learning and play.

Our days are enriched with French and English, making language learning natural and fun from the very beginning.

We enjoy stories, singing, dancing, nature walks, sensory play, and age-appropriate activities tailored to each child’s needs and interests.

I believe in respecting each child as a unique individual, and I’m committed to providing a calm, consistent routine where they feel seen, heard, and supported every day.

My Experience

My journey began over 10 years ago as a nanny, supporting families and caring for children from birth to 10 years old. Through this hands-on experience, I developed a deep understanding of child development, routines, and the importance of emotional security. Becoming a mum myself strengthened my passion for early years even more. I’ve now created a bilingual, Montessori-inspired home setting where little ones can grow, learn, and feel truly at home. With a calm and caring approach, I support each child’s unique rhythm and needs, helping them thrive through play, gentle guidance, and meaningful connection — all in both French and English.
