My Experience
I’ve had hands-on experience raising both my younger brother and my niece from infancy into their school years which has given me a strong foundation in caring for children of different ages and temperaments.
Whether it’s helping with homework, planning fun activities, preparing light meals, or just being a kind and patient companion, I take pride in being reliable and attentive to each child’s unique needs.
My Qualifications
I’ve looked after kids for most of my life,it started with helping raise my younger brother and later my niece, so caring for children comes very naturally to me. From feeding and nappy changes to school runs and helping with homework, I’ve had real hands-on experience through all stages of childhood.
I also have a background in admin, which means I’m organised, good with timekeeping, and I pay attention to the little details. These skills really help when it comes to sticking to routines, managing school pick-ups, or remembering the small things that matter in a child’s day.
I’m calm, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children,whether that’s reading stories, doing arts and crafts, or just being there to make sure they’re safe and happy.
I always try to make both children and parents feel comfortable and understood. I’m happy to follow your routines and parenting style and keep you updated so you always feel in the loop.
I have a DBS check,However, I don’t have a pediatric first aid certificate, but I’m more than willing to get it if needed. I want families to feel 100% comfortable with me.
