About Me
I'm a fun loving creative who adores spending time outside. I've just finished my degree in fine art and am looking for some work I'd both enjoy doing to occupy myself and which helps others. I love to draw and paint (I'm told I'm quite good at it as well) and so spend a lot of time doing just that.
I have a fair bit of experience working with young kids and I've loved every moment of it! I find it incredibly rewarding and fun and am hoping to make running art workshops outdoors for kids my career.
My Experience
I have volunteered at the Little Tree Forest school near potager gardens where I enjoyed getting muddy with the kids! I've ran craft stores and workshops for kids in the past which I greatly enjoyed. I've also spent some time doing work abroad on a farm where my main role was to occupy their two children throughout the day. I spent many years in a drama group where I would be responsible for chaperoning the younger performers during the shows. This basically involved keeping them quiet, which I did through drawing and playing board games, and making sure chocolate was kept well away from costumes!
My Qualifications
Degree in fine art (first class honours)
A levels in music, art and design, english, french and welsh.
I don't have any qualifications for childcare on paper but can get references from previous roles.
My Availability
Anytime up until the end of mid July, then september onwards.
