About Me
I’m a first-time mum expecting our baby in early January 2025, and I’m looking for some support during those early newborn weeks. Before moving into a corporate career, I spent many years working as a nanny myself, so I really understand and value the heart and skill that goes into this kind of work.
My partner and I are kind, down-to-earth, and easygoing. We’re not flashy or from fancy backgrounds—we’re just hoping to find the right person to support our little family as we find our feet in this new chapter.
My Requirements
We’re looking for a kind, a maternity nurse to help us settle in with our newborn and support mum’s recovery after a planned C-section. This would be for around 8 - 12 weeks (cost dependant), starting shortly after the birth.
About the Role:
We’d love someone gentle, calm, and confident with newborns—someone who can take the lead on baby care at night. The idea is to help mum get the rest she needs while making sure our baby is happy and well looked after.
What We’re Looking For:
Help with overnight baby care (4–5 nights per week)
Support with feeding and settling the baby
Help during the day
Shared care of the baby when mum needs a break
Cooking is a big plus—we love tasty, home-cooked meals
Light household help (nothing heavy—just baby-related tasks or a quick tidy)
Where You’ll Stay:
We can offer a lovely, private guest annex with its own bathroom, kitchenette, and mezzanine bedroom for relaxing and comfy double room next to the baby’s nursery for nights.
You’ll Ideally Have:
Good experience with newborns and postnatal support
A warm, reassuring presence
Up-to-date DBS and first aid (or willing to update)
Great references
